About
"You don't take a photograph, you make it."
- Ansel Adams
I am a San Francisco Bay Area-based (previously New York City and Boston) music journalist and photographer, specializing in live music and music portraits. Interviewing and photographing musical artists on behalf of outlets and radio stations including doNYC, The Wild Honey Pie, Live 105.3 (ALT 105.3), CMJ, and Higher Lyfe Magazine led me to create and launch Urban Vinyl Magazine, an independently-run online magazine focusing on music and food, since 2016. Under Urban Vinyl Magazine, I have covered numerous artists such as Magic Man, Night Riots, The Maine, Sam Fender, Niall Horan, The Lumineers, Smallpools, The Naked and Famous, Metric, Circa Waves, and Kelly Clarkson. Festivals I have photographed include Warped Tour (2016), Live 105’s BFD (2016), Boston Calling (2015), CMJ (2014, 2015), Mondo.NYC (2018), and The New Colossus Festival (2019, 2020). In addition, I have photographed shows globally in London as well as Sydney.
I additionally have experience photographing various social events, with my photos published on sites and social media. I have also worked on school yearbooks, and possess skills in Adobe Lightroom, InDesign, and Photoshop.
I am available for portraits/headshots, senior portraits/graduation, events, touring, and weddings/engagements.
